Maggie Moore(s)
Maggie Moore(s) is an indie black comedy with a great cast. It premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival this month and gets its theatrical release today. The cast includes Jon Hamm, Tina Fey and one of the breakout stars of Ted Lasso, Nick Mohammed.

nobody's hero
The film is from France and was conceived by filmmaker Alain Guiraudie in the wake of the 2015-2016 wave of ISIS-inspired terrorist attacks across Europe. The film was nominated for both the Panorama Audience Award, as well as Best Feature Film, at the Berlin International Film Festival.

Lonely Castle in the Mirror
Lonely Castle in the Mirror is an animated feature from acclaimed Japanese director Keiichi Hara. The film won Best Feature at Annecy International Animated Film Festival and it also won the Youth Jury Prize for Best Futurewave Feature at Seattle International Film Festival, as well as getting various other nominations.

Meet Me in the Bathroom
The film is based on Lizzy Goodman’s oral history of New York City’s musical rebirth in the early 2000’s. The documentary, directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, includes a mix of incredible footage, interviews and both rare and live archives. For a music fan, it’s a must see film.

Tess is a young woman who’s grappling with the shattering death of her younger sister, Zoe. As the rest of her family grieves in their own ways, Tess seeks support from her biological father and a juvenile delinquent who lives in the neighborhood.
